CUSTOM MADE INDIAN LUXURY TYPE
As part of Sawari's repertoire of visual languages for Indian luxury visual design, we developed a series of 'typograms'. Our project 'typogram' explores typeface development as part of a sequence of monograms to facilitate the development of selected alphabets as part of Sawari's brand design typekit.
TYPOGRAMS FOR TROPICAL LUXURY
Sawari worked with a chain of luxury villas in tropical Bali, Bangkok and Goa. We developed a unique visual story and evolved a unique typogram system for the projects. The type style was evolved based on the aerial topography of the villas

Prakash, Sister’s Bazaar, Landour.
We developed the visual identity, visual language and packaging for the country’s oldest and most famous hillside store that has customers from all over the world. The rare collection of organic and hand crafted products that included cheese, nuts, pasta sauces and exotic herbs were packaged with an international appeal as souvenirs from the quaint market of Sister’s Bazaar in Landour.

The 75 year old handloom emporium brand approached Sawari to redesign its brand identity in order to find a connect with a younger audience retaining the brand’s strong legacy. Sawari developed the brand story of the journey from a handloom emporium store to its new positioning of a custom fine tailoring brand with an international appeal.
The brand story was narrated through Brand Identity & Stationery, Visual Design, Packaging, Store Design and Service Design.

Royal Distilleries is one of the leading breweries specializing in creating bespoke liquor brands for various global markets. Sawari worked very closely with the client to develop a strong visual identity system and to create a memorable brand identity, label design and packaging. We developed a system of identity and packaging for Red Cube, Blue Cube and Gold Cube being the most premium in the series.

The cyclothon is an event organized by WWF in Delhi every year as the signature lead-up event to Earth Hour. Sawari developed the brand design and the mobile application – Cyclo.
Cyclo is an application built to extend the vision of WWF to include living in harmony with our community. This is a feature rich mobile app for cycling enthusiasts with an active online community to bring together people from around the globe, for a purpose.

Developing the brand design for a new fine foods brand that has a potential international appeal for its exotic product range to cross global boundaries of customers.
Sawari helped build the brand from the ground up— brand naming, visual identity, positioning, packaging and print. Partnering with the founder, the vision was developed to create a unique positioning and translated into the brand design.
We translated the visual idiom of paintings of Trishla Jain into typographic narrations for an art catalogue for Exhibit320 that showcases contemporary art from India and the subcontinent. Retaining only visual elements from the paintings, the catalogue integrated a minimalistic design approach with dramatic use of visual elements to treat each piece of work as an individual story in a larger narrative.

Florets of Grace is a limited edition coffee table book from The Speaking Tree Collection of Times of India. The book is a compilation of writings from spiritual masters from the east and west. The book was conceptualized as a collector’s piece and developed to be treasured for decades. The book was illustrated and designed with a unique visual language to compliment the manuscript.

The mother brand of Melblok, a specialized skin clinic approached us to build the brand identity, packaging, brand manual and communication to launch Melblok as a premium brand for skincare.
Developing the brand story to integrate its research based scientific approach combined with its expertise in cosmetic therapy, we developed the brand design.

The brand design for an online retail store with a collection of exotic and rare fine foods is a challenge to integrate the global approach towards web with a unique brand story.
Sawari developed the brand identity and brand manual for the online gourmet shop offering fine food products from around the world and exquisite gourmet gifts. The brand design integrates the brand’s primary online platform with its premium positioning in the fine foods segment. The unique positioning was translated into a unique brand story and visual language.

For a liquor brand from a local brewery, Sawari rooted the brand story in the history of its origin of former Portuguese settlement. Narrating the experiences of distillation and tasting with its association of Portuguese culture, the brand story was told across the identity and packaging.

We developed the brand design for the tailor made IT solutions company. The visual identity was developed to be extended into an identity system for the company’s software products. The company’s positioning was developed and translated in interactive platforms for its specialised products custom made for its clients. The brand design has been developed with a broad approach towards the company’s vision for future custom made signature products.

Royal Distilleries is one of the leading distilleries specializing in creating premium liquor brands for various global markets. Sawari worked very closely with the client to develop a strong visual identity system and to create a memorable brand identity, label design, packaging and retail solutions for Duty Free Shops, Wine Shops and upscale Bars & airport Lounges.

Sawari built a unique corporate identity and brand story for Sante Integrale Lumiere, France. The brand story for the French Myofascial Release Massage Co. was built to narrate the ‘inter-being communication’ through a unique narrative of ‘Dialogues with Denizens’ for their unique concept of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Restorative Yoga. The visual identity was developed with 106 Neem leaves, 6 Neem Flowers, a lotus pond with peacocks and a lion narrating a unique visual story of ‘animal communication’ in Restorative Therapy.
